Screening followed by conversation with theatre director Line Rosvoll and filmmaker Tarjei Sandvik Moe.

A young drama teacher at Skien High School tries to stay true to herself and her artistic visions as an Ibsen director through one intense day. At the same time, she encounters resistance from her boyfriend, the school system, and contemporary expectations.

Catilina is a condensed tale of artistic integrity, compromise, and the pressure between ideals and reality. The film explores the cost of holding on to one's beliefs when the world around them pulls in the opposite direction.

This is director Tarjei Sandvik Moe's professional debut, supported by the Norwegian Film Institute, Viken Film Center, Sound and Vision Fund and Skien Municipality.
