Welcome to the official opening ceremony on March 20, 2028 in Skien, Ibsen's birthplace.

In 2028 it will be 200 years since Ibsen was born. This will be celebrated with great fanfare both at home and abroad. Skien is proud to have been chosen as the opening venue for the national program, and is now gearing up for a large-scale celebration.
