Skien's flagpoles now have flags that show that you have arrived at Ibsenbyen Skien. The flags show a new design developed in collaboration with Breakfast AS, which will characterize all future communication. The city boards will regularly have Ibsenbyen posters and the city flags will welcome everyone to Ibsenbyen Skien.

19th century architecture meets new Ibsen design at Festiviteten
Welcome to Ibsenbyen Skien!
The new flags fly at the top of Ibsenparken, towards Festiviteten.
Maps showing the places that have something to tell about Henrik Ibsen's upbringing in Skien are hung up where Stockmanngården once stood, today Telemarksgata 12 at the top of Handelstorget.
The tourist information is located in Kaffehuset, Henrik Ibsens gate 2, and on the poster outside you will find the same map of Ibsen places in the city.

If you want to find out more about Ibsen's childhood and upbringing in Skien, you can download the audio guide app "Guide to Go" (formerly "Voice of Norway") using the QR codes above or download the app here. In the app you will find places with accompanying text and images in Norwegian and English.
