New IbsenMagazine
Henrik Ibsen's 200th anniversary will begin in Skien on March 20, 2028. There will be great festivities from March and throughout the year in Ibsen's birthplace. The whole country will join in celebrating our world-famous playwright. Cultural institutions locally, nationally and internationally have begun preparations.
One activity towards 2028 is to establish an annual publication of IbsenMagasinet. In this first issue, IbsenMagasinet 2026, you will get an insight into some of the activities taking place in the cultural institutions in Ibsen's hometown and the surrounding area, as well as some thoughts towards 2028.
The launch of IbsenMagasinet 2026 will take place in the foyer of Ibsen House on Wednesday, March 4th at 5:30 PM. Maybe Peer Gynt will stop by. Welcome to the launch!
Then Lecture at 6:00 PM in Anitra by Julie Nordahl, head of the Sølvåren Ibsen Information Center, on "The Ibsen Library - an interaction between architecture and experiences"
