Henrik Ibsen! The name alone is enough to make grown-ups exclaim "Are we getting this on the exam?!" But what does the poet mean to us in 2024? Does he still have something important to offer, or has Ibsen become something we put up with - because it's healthy? Have Ibsen's plays become the performing arts' answer to cod liver oil?

This is what three overconfident young actors - and a musician - will find out in just over an hour. Henrik Ibsen's complete works in 68 minutes is a summer show where the author Knut Nærum uses all means to make Ibsen relevant in our time. Ibsen is retold using forms from our own time. Could Terje Vigen have participated in Master of the Masters? Does Peer Gynt make more sense as Maskorama? Is The King's Topics really about Trond Giske? Is An Enemy of the People really an action movie? That remains to be seen. There will be sketches, song, dance and German seventies porn. Can Ibsen be saved?

Does he need to be saved? When all of the plays have been retold - or at least touched on - it is the audience that makes the judgment.Eirik Langås Jørgensen, Vilde Moberg and Petter Westlund are on stage. The play is directed by Jan Martin Johnsen, who performed in the play in 2005. Why 68 minutes? Because: If it can't be said in 68 minutes, it's probably not worth saying at all.
