Welcome to a double dose of Ibsen – The Wild Duck and Peer Gynt! Artist Tone Dietrichson has been researching Henrik Ibsen's plays for more than 20 years. She is considered one of our best communicators of Ibsen, and shows how Ibsen's plays give us greater insight into both ourselves and our world around us. This evening she gives the audience two performance performances in one evening, but her interpretation of The Wild Duck and Peer Gynt.
"With a View to Insight" is a visual and verbal journey into inner landscapes where she gives the audience a deep dive into Henrik Ibsen's soul drama The Wild Duck. This is an extraordinary performance, where we are given a whole new mirror to see ourselves, our fellow human beings and the world around us.
"If blood is never thin, one always recognizes oneself in Peer Gynt." Through her great storytelling and commitment to this wild play, she leads us with humor, wit and warmth through Peer's journey through life, and perhaps it is not just Peer that we meet, but ourselves?
The performances are filled with seriousness, humor and warmth and have been seen by thousands to great enthusiasm.
