Fredrik Brattberg's plays are performed all over the world, but not at Teater Ibsen. Do we not understand his plays here at home? Are they not marketable enough, or is it simply because there is not enough interest in new Norwegian drama? Fredrik Brattberg made his debut with The Returns, for which he also received the Ibsen Prize in 2011. Since then, Brattberg has written 20 plays, and they have been translated into over 20 languages. Line Rosvoll is the upcoming theatre director at Teater Ibsen, and was previously the long-time director of Dramatikkens hus. No one knows the field of drama in Norway as well as she does. I wonder if Brattberg's name will be found in Teater Ibsen's repertoire in the future? The moderator is Mariken Lauvstad, who is also a regular theatre critic in Morgenbladet.
