In March 2026, Henrik Ibsen would have turned 198. On that occasion, KTT – Kise Text and Theatre, in collaboration with Menstad bydelshus, is staging one of his greatest works, namely "A Doll's House". We follow Nora Helmer and her husband Torvald. They are living happy days. It is almost Christmas, Torvald has recovered from illness and has got a profitable position in the bank. Everything is joy and happiness. But Nora's secrets from the past are now in danger of coming to light, and will put the whole happy time in danger! Or is it a happy time?

Is Nora happy where she is now? Who is Nora really up to in all this? Nora's journey from a doll girl to an independent woman is and was remarkable! "A Doll's House" is as relevant today as when it was written. The timelessness and contemporaneity of Ibsen's work have made him one of the world's most performed playwrights.

A doll's house created a stir when it first appeared, and the theme and traditional role portrayal can be seen as relevant even now.

We welcome you to Nora Helmer's journey, portrayed by Victoria Fahre from Bølehøgda, a journey through the struggle to find herself - to be able to be herself! Two performances: at 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM
