Here you will see where Henrik lived as a child and how the family lived an upper-class life in the hustle and bustle before his father Knud Ibsen went bankrupt. We tell about various memories that Henrik himself has written down from his childhood, and what he was like as a young boy in Skien until he moved away from home at the age of 15.
Practical information:
The start is from the VEV museum building in Brekkeparken, Øvregate 32a. We then walk down to Skien city center and the place where Henrik Ibsen was born.
We walk in the city and walk the last part of the walk up Snipetorpgata, via Tomtegata and back to the last stop in Brekkeparken. The last part of the walk is a bit steep, but it's worth the view at the top of Skien city!
Price: 140,- for adults.. On the same ticket you get many other offers on the same day. 60,- for children
